A.
i. An eminent scholar having a Ph.D. degree in Civil Engineering with Specialization in Structural Engineering and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research connected with bridges and tunnels with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 research publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals.
ii. A minimum of 13 years of teaching experience out of which at least 5 years as Associate Professor in a University/College and/ or research experience at equivalent level at the University/National Level Institutions with evidence of having successfully guided doctoral candidate. The Ph.D. and teaching experience should be in the field of Structural Engineering, Bridge / Tunnel engineering.
(or) - B. An outstanding professional, having a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering with Specialization in Structural Engineering and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research connected with bridges and tunnels from any academic institutions (not included in A above) / industry, who has made significant contribution to the knowledge in the bridges and tunnel Engineering area supported by documentary evidence provided he/she has ten years of experience out of which at least 3 years shall be in active teaching either as regular faculty or as a visiting faculty.
Consolidated Salary per Month:
1. In case of Professor who are in service, their pay will be protected and increments will be given as per their scale of pay.
2. In case of Retired Professors, the remuneration will be calculated as the Last Pay Drawn minus Pension.
3. In case of Associate Professor who are with a minimum of 3 years experience at Level 13A of revised UGC Pay Scales 2016, their pay will be protected/will be given Academic Level 14 (Rs 1,44,200 – 2,18,200) scale.
4. In case of applicants from the Industry, those who satisfy all the stipulated conditions of Eligibility, Academic Level – 14 (Rs 1,44,200 – 2,18,200) pay scale will be given.
