Organization Profile: The institute Smt. S. R. Patel Engineering College was established in the year 2009 at Dabhi, about 4 km away from Unjha and about 28 km away from Mehsana. The institute is promoted by Smt. Sushilaben Rameshbhai Patel Charitable Trust and supported by Ajay Engi-Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd., Mehsana. The lush green campus is spread over in a 12 acre area. The beautiful landscaping, gardens and peaceful environment provide a true feeling of closeness to the nature.
The institute offers 4 years degree engineering programs in four disciplines at the Under Graduate (UG) level viz. Civil, Mechanical, Computer, and Electronics & Communication Engineering and 2 years Master of Engineering programs in two disciplines at the Post Graduate (PG) level viz. Mechanical & Computer. The institute is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to Gujarat Technological University (GTU), Ahmedabad. All these programs are designed to enable learning in application based environment through a combination of teachers and hands-on-experience in well equipped laboratories.
The institute has adequate infrastructure viz. spacious class rooms with audio visual aids, well equipped workshop, laboratories and library with more than 8000 books and national and international journals and computer Center (300 computers) with necessary software and internet connectivity. To achieve an excellence in University result, personal attention on students and smooth conduction of Teaching – Learning process, we initiate the new concept to run the classes with only 30 students’ batch instead of 60 students. We are proud of a strong team of meticulously trained, dedicated and committed faculty and staff, out of those more than 50 % faculty members is from IITs and NITs.
