FACULTY (MARINE ENGINEERING)
Educational & other qualifications required:
Essential:
a) MEO Class – I (Motor) Certificate of Competency issued by Directorate General of Shipping, Government of India.
b) Sailing experience for a minimum period of six months at Management level within the meaning of STCW Convention, as amended.
c) VICT / TOTA Course Certificate or Willingness to do before joining
Desirable:
a) Six months of teaching / training experience in Maritime Training Institute(s) in India
b) AECS Course Certificate.
c) TSTA Course Certificate.
Duties: Teaching / Training to Pre-sea Courses (B.Tech [Marine Engineering] & PGDME) & Post-Sea Courses (Competency, Modular & Simulator)

Duties: Teaching/training to Post-Sea Courses & Competency Courses (Maharashtra Maritime Board)
Age: Preferably below 62 Years
FACULTY (NAUTICAL SCIENCE)
Educational & other qualifications required:
Essential:
a) Master (Foreign Going) Certificate of Competency issued by Directorate General of Shipping, Government of India.
b) Sailing experience for a minimum period of six months at Management level within the meaning of STCW Convention, as amended.
c) VICT / TOTA Course Certificate or Willingness to do before joining
Desirable:
a) Six months of teaching / training experience in Maritime Training Institute(s) in India
b) AECS Course Certificate.

Educational & other qualifications required:
Essential Qualifications:
1. 3-year Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from an institute approved by the All India Council of Technical Education
OR
PO/CPO/MCPO in Electrical Branch of Indian Navy / Coast Guard
OR
Electrician or ETO from Merchant Navy
2. VICT / TOTA Course Certificate / Willingness to undertake
3. Sailing experience
Desirable: Relevant work experience for a period of 1 year
Duties :
1) Training of Inland Vessel Crew
2) To Instruct students / assist the Faculty in Workshop /Simulators etc.
3) Maintenance, augmentation and upkeep of Workshop equipment/devices
4) Project related work
Age: Preferably below 57 years
WORKSHOP INSTRUCTOR (MARINE ENGINEERING)
Educational & other qualifications required:
Essential
1. Marine Fitter from Merchant Navy (OR) PO/CPO/MCPO of Marine Engineering Branch from Indian Navy / Coast Guard
(OR)
Near Coastal Voyage (NCV) class IV Engineer.
(AND)
2. VICT / TOTA Course Certificate / Willingness to undertake.
Desirable: Relevant work experience for a period of 06 months
Duties :
1) To Instruct students / assist the Faculty in Workshop /Simulators etc.
2) Maintenance, augmentation and upkeep of Workshop equipment/devices
3) Training of Inland Vessel Crew
4) Project related work
Age: Preferably below 57 years.
HOSTEL WARDEN (Post-Sea)
Educational & other qualifications required:
Essential:
a) Ex-Navy / Coast Guard / Army / Air Force/Equivalent training or teaching establishments
b) Minimum 15 yrs of Government Service (Preferably who has served 15 yrs of service in Navy/ Army / Air Force / Coast Guard)
Desirable:
a) Experience in Establishment like NDA / IN Academy / IMA / MTIs / College.
b) Service in MTIs as a Warden
Responsibilities: Manage affairs of Cadets including their Grooming, Discipline, Good Conduct, Mustering, Leave, Hostel Maintenance etc. They are required to work in shifts.
Age: Preferably below 62 years
SIGNAL INSTRUCTOR
Educational & other qualifications required:
Essential:
a) Ex-Navy / Coast Guard / Army / Air Force/Equivalent training or teaching establishments
b) Minimum 15 yrs of Government Service (Preferably who has served 15 yrs of service in Navy/ Army / Air Force / Coast Guard)
Desirable: Professional Qualification of Radio/Signals from Navy.
Experience: 10 Yrs. Experience as Signal Instructor at an MTI.
Duties : Manage affairs of Cadets including their Grooming, Discipline, Good Conduct, Mustering, Leave, Hostel Maintenance etc. They are required to work in shifts.
Age: Preferably below 62 years
PHYSICAL TRAINING INSTRUCTOR
Educational & other qualifications required:
Essential: Chief / Petty Officer from Physical Training Branch or Petty Officer from Seaman Branch with Lifeguard Certificate from Indian Navy / Coast Gurad. (or)
Graduate in Physical Education with 55% marks and should have played a game at State / National Level.
Desirable: Professional Qualification of Radio/Signals from Navy.
Experience: Relevant work experience for a period of 1 year
Duties:: To engage Cadets for morning Physical Training and exercises; and during evening field games / exercise in gymnasium. He/She should provide basic physical training to Cadets like demonstration of various physical exercises & its techniques and explain & enforce safety rules & regulations.
Age: Preferably below 57 years
