Advertisement for the Position of Junior Research Fellow
Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the position of one Junior Research Fellow in a DBT-funded research project with the following details:
Title: “Investigation of phagotrophic protist for microplastics degradation by predation pressure and ingestion-based systems”

Essential qualifications: M.Sc., Degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, or relevant area of Life Sciences with minimum of 55% marks or equivalent and with CSIR-NET/GATE/BET qualification. (Non CSIR-NETIGATE qualified candidate can also apply; however, the fellowship will be given as per the norms of DBT, New Delhi)
Desirable: Practical knowledge in isolation and maintenance of protozoa, bacteria, molecular Biology and metabolites extraction techniques will be given preference.
Age limit: 28 years
Salary: As per the norms
Duration: Two years or up to the termination of project (subject to the review of candidates performance)
