Qualification: 

  1. Hindi Translator – 1 post
    a. Age limit – Twenty-eight (28) years as on the closing date for receipt of applications. For reserved categories upper age limit is relaxable as per extant Government of India orders. Upper age limit is also relaxable by the Board on the recommendations of the Selection Committee if the candidates are found otherwise suitable.
    b. Educational and other qualifications required:
    Essential
    i) Graduate or equivalent degree of a recognised University in Hindi in addition to English.
    ii) At least 5 years experience in Translation work in any big establishment.
    Desirable
    i) Knowledge of Bengali.
    ii) Typing speed 30 words per minute in Hindi.
  2. Assistant- Librarian – 1 post
    a. Age limit – Twenty-eight (28) years as on the closing date for receipt of applications. For reserved categories upper age limit is relaxable as per extant Government of India orders. Upper age limit is also relaxable by the Board on the recommendations of the Selection Committee in the case of highly experienced or qualified person.
    b. Educational and other qualifications required:
    Essential
    i) Master’s or equivalent Honours degree of a recognised University in Ancient Indian History and Culture or Anthropology or Archaeology or other allied subject related to Museum.
    ii) Diploma in Library Science.
    iii) One year’s experience in a Library of good standing.
  3. Modeller – 1 post
    a. Age limit – Twenty-eight (28) years as on the closing date for receipt of applications. For reserved categories upper age limit is relaxable as per extant Government of India orders. Upper age limit is also relaxable by the Board on the recommendations of the Selection Committee in the case of highly experienced or qualified person.
    b. Educational and other qualifications required:
    Essential
    i) School Final or equivalent examination passed.
    ii) Degree or Diploma of a recognised Art College or a comparable institution in Arts with specialization in modelling.
    iii) At least 3 years practical experience in modelling.
    Desirable
    Knowledge or experience in Museum work.
  4. Guide Lecturer (Zoology) – 1 post
    a. Age limit – Twenty-eight (28) years as on the closing date for receipt of applications. For reserved categories upper age limit is relaxable as per extant Government of India orders.
    b. Educational and other qualifications required:
    Essential
    i) Master’s or equivalent Hons. Degree of a recognised University in Zoology.
    ii) Ability to speak on Zoology in Hindi and English in addition to Bengali.
    Desirable
    i) Diploma in Museology.
    ii) Experience in Museum or Training in Museology.
    iii) Published Research in Zoology.
