About the Institution
The JKKN College of Pharmacy, Kumarapalayam, is one of the pioneering pharmaceutical educational Institutes in Tamil Nadu, India, established in the year 1985. The Institution offers B.Pharm, M.Pharm (Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacology and Pharmacy Practice), Pharm.D and Ph.D Research Programme. The Institution is recognised by the Government of Tamil Nadu, approved by the Pharmacy Council of India, and affiliated to The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai. Tamil Nadu, India.
The JKKN College of Pharmacy has been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) & ranked among INDIA’S TOP 125 Pharmacy Colleges in the ranking released by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF 2022). In addition, the institution has been certified in the ‘PLATINUM‘ category by the confederation of Indian Industry ( AICTE–CII Survey of Industry–Linked Technical Institutes) in 2016. The JKKN College of Pharmacy, has been awarded ATAL Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements (ARIIA) an initiative of the Ministry of Education.
(MOE), Govt. of India to systematically rank all major higher educational institutions and universities in India on indicators related to “Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development” amongst students and faculties. Our students won the “Student Innovators title” in the Idea contest conducted by Nativeled, TBI–KEC, CII, YI–Erode and YUVA in the year 2021.
The JKKN College of Pharmacy has secured “FIRST PRIZE” in recognition of outstanding contribution to community service under the “National Young Leaders Programme (NYLP)‘ scheme by the Government of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports and National Service Scheme regional directorate, Chennai. Moreover, JKKN College of Pharmacy has been selected for establishing an Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) by the Ministry of Education (MoE’s), Government of India in 2018. Our students have excelled in the Tamil Nadu Student Innovator Award 2018 and 2019, a unique accomplishment by the only pharmacy institution in the state of Tamil Nadu.
