Job Title:  Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Employment Type: Temporary

Department: Physics

Project Title: “Synthesis of Semiconductor and Metal Nanostructures and the Investigation of Their Role as Active or Passive Scatterer in Random Laser Generation”

Qualification: First-class PG Degree in M. Sc. (Physics/Applied Physics)/ M.Sc. (Electronics) or in M. Tech (Materials Science/Nanotechnology).

Preference will be given to the candidates who are qualified in NET /NET(LS)/ State Level Eligibility Test (SET)/GATE/JEST or any National level Examinations conducted by MoE, Govt. of India for Ph.D Admission. However, these NET qualifications will have to be relevant to the qualifying degree of the candidate concerned

Desirable Qualifications: For JRF – Good academic record & experience of research work in the relevant field.

Job Location: Durgapur, West Bengal

Fellowship: Rs. 25,000/- p.m. (Consolidated)

1. The above position is purely temporary, and is for a period of 1 and 1/2 Months /Date of termination of the project.
2. Selected candidates will not be entitled to claim for regular appointments/absorption in this institute.
3. The continuation of the fellowship is subject to satisfactory performance and periodic review throughout the period of work.
4. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
