Qualification for School of Commerce: 

  • Qualifying Criteria – PROFESSOR:
    1. The candidate should be a Ph.D. with First Class (or an equivalent grade on a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in a Master’s Degree in concerned/relevant discipline.
    AND
    Minimum 10 SCI Publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals
    AND
    Minimum Research Score of 120
    AND
    Successfully guided at least 2 doctoral candidates.

    1. Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in teaching/research/industry, of which at least 3 years shall be equivalent to Associate Professor.

                               OR
    In the event, the candidate is from industry and the profession, the following shall constitute as essential:

    1. A Ph.D. Degree with First Class (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in Master’s Degree in concerned/relevant discipline.

                                 OR

    1. A Ph.D. Degree with First Class (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in two years full-time PGDM declared equivalent by AIU / recognized by the AICTE / UGC.

                                OR

         3.  First Class graduate and professionally qualified Chartered Accountant / Cost and Works  Accountant / Company Secretary of the concerned statutory body.

                               AND

    c.  The candidate should have professional work experience which is significant and can be recognized at the national / International level as equivalent to Ph.D. and 10- 15 years’ managerial experience in the industry should be at the Senior Managerial level in a large Organization/MNC/Conglomerate.

    d. Published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work in the peer-reviewed or UGC listed Journals.  Published work may include books, Research Periodical, Ph.D. guidance, Consultancy projects, and patent filed.

  • Qualifying Criteria – ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR: 

    a. The candidate should be a Ph.D. with First Class (or an equivalent grade on a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in Master’s Degree in concerned/relevant discipline.

    AND

    Minimum 7 SCI Publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals

    AND

    Minimum Research Score of 75

    b. Minimum of 8 years of full-time experience in teaching/research/industry* out of which at least 3 years shall be Post Ph.D. experience.

    OR

    In the event, that the candidate is from industry and the profession, the following shall constitute as essential:

    1. A Ph.D. Degree with First Class (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in Master’s Degree in concerned/relevant discipline.

     OR

    1. A Ph.D. Degree with First Class (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in two-year full-time PGDM declared equivalent by AIU / recognized by the AICTE / UGC.

       OR

  • Qualifying Criteria – ASSISTANT PROFESSOR:

    1. Ph.D. is mandatory with a minimum of 55% in Master’s Degree in Business Management / Administration / in a relevant discipline.

             AND

    c. Minimum 2 SCI Publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals

              OR

    First Class graduate and professionally qualified Chartered Accountant / Cost and Works Accountant / Company Secretary of the concerned bodies.

    d. Without prejudice to the above, the following conditions may be considered desirable:

      i) Ph.D preferred with entry-level 2 years experience is desirable but not mandatory.

     ii) The candidate has presented at least two papers based on his/her Ph.D. work in conferences/seminars sponsored/funded/supported by the UGC/ICSSR/CSIR   or any similar agency.

    Published work may include books, Research Periodical, Ph.D. guidance, Consultancy projects, and a patent filed.

  • Qualification for School of Law: 

FOR THE POST OF PROFESSOR

  1. Essential : A Ph.D. Degree with First Class Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in related discipline.
  2. A Minimum of 15 years of experience in teaching/research and / or industry at the level of Associate Professor or equivalent grade, excluding period spent on obtaining the research leading to Ph.D degree/academic administration in a University or/and in any of its affiliated College or/and Research Institute or research Centre, wholly or in parts.
    AND
  1. Minimum 10 SCI Publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals
    AND 
  1. Minimum Research Score of 120
    AND 
  1. Successfully guided at least 2 doctoral candidates.

 OR

  1. In the event the candidate is from industry and the profession, the following shall constitute as essential:
  2. First Class Master’s Degree in related discipline.
  3. Significant professional work which can be recognized as equivalent to a Ph.D. Degree in related discipline and industrial/professional experience of fifteen years managerial experience, out of which at least eight years at senior level or in a position equivalent to the level of Associate Professor/Reader.
  4. Published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work in the peer-reviewed or UGC listed Journals.  Published work may include books, Research Periodical, Ph.D. guidance, Consultancy projects, and patent filed.

FOR THE POST OF ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR

  1. Essential :A Ph.D. Degree with First Class Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in related discipline.
  2. A Minimum of 8 years of experience in teaching/research and / or industry at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent grade, excluding period spent on obtaining the research leading to Ph.D degree/academic administration in a University or/and in any of its affiliated College or/and Research Institute or research Centre, wholly or in parts.
    AND
  1. Minimum 7 SCI Publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals
    AND 
  2. Minimum Research Score of 75
    OR
  3. In the event the candidate is from industry and the profession, the following shall constitute as essential:
  4. First Class Master’s Degree in Law.
  5. Significant professional work which can be recognized as equivalent to a Ph.D. Degree in related discipline and industrial / professional experience of eight years in a position equivalent to the level of Assistant Professor.
  6. Published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work in the peer-reviewed or UGC listed Journals.  Published work may include books, Research Periodical, Ph.D. guidance, Consultancy projects, and patent filed.

FOR THE POST OF ASSISTANT PROFESSOR

i. Essential: a) Master’s Degree in a related discipline with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade or Cumalative Grade Point Average in a defined scale, with good academic record. Provided that LL.M course with one year duration introduced by the UGC and are allowed to be one of the minimum essential qualification for Assistant Professorship as at present, shall not be considered as one of the essential qualification unless supported by and supplemented with M.Phil degree.

  1. The candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or SLET/SET accredited by UGC

OR

ii. Desirable

a)  Ph.D. preferred with 2 years of experience
b) The candidate has presented at least two papers based on his/her Ph.D. work in conferences/seminars sponsored/funded/supported by the UGC/ICSSR/CSIR or any similar agency.
c) Published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work in the peer-reviewed or UGC listed Journals.  Published work may include books, Research Periodical, Ph.D. guidance, Consultancy projects, and patent filed.

  • Qualification for School of Science : 

FOR THE POST OF PROFESSOR 

Essential:

  1. A Ph.D. Degree with First Class Master’s Degree in Psychology and experience of ten years in teaching, research, industry and / or profession at the level of Professor/Associate Professor/Reader or equivalent grade;

OR

In the event the candidate is from industry and the profession, the following shall constitute as essential:

First Class Master’s Degree in Psychology and significant professional work which can be recognized as equivalent to a Ph.D. Degree in appropriate branch and industrial / professional experience of ten years at a senior level comparable to Associate Professor / Reader.

  1. Published work, such as research papers, patents filed / obtained, books, and / or technical reports;
  2. Experience of guiding the project work, dissertation of post graduate or research students or supervising R & D projects in industry;
  3. Capacity to undertake / lead sponsored R & D, consultancy and related activities.

Desirable:

  1. Demonstrated leadership in planning and organizing academic, research, industrial and / or professional activities;
  2. Evidence of service to University, the Profession and the Community;
  3. Evidence of Curriculum Development. 

FOR THE POST OF ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR 

Essential:

A Ph.D. Degree with First Class Master’s Degree in Psychology and experience of five years in teaching, research, industry and / or profession at the level of Lecturer or equivalent grade; excluding period spent on obtaining the research degree.

OR

In the event the candidate is from industry and the profession, the following shall constitute as essential:

First Class Master’s Degree in Psychology and significant professional work which can be recognized as equivalent to a Ph.D. degree in appropriate branch and industrial/professional experience of five years in a position equivalent to the level of Lecturer/Assistant Professor.

Desirable:

1.Teaching, research industrial and / or professional experience in a reputed organization;

2. Published work, such as research papers, patents filed / obtained, books and / or technical reports;

3. Experience of guiding the projects work, dissertation of post graduate or research students or supervising R & D projects in industry;

4. Evidence of Curriculum Development.

FOR THE POST OF ASSISTANT PROFESSOR 

Essential:

A Ph.D. Degree with First Class at Master’s Degree in Psychology and desirable experience of 3 years in teaching, research, industry and / or profession at the level of Lecturer or equivalent grade.

Desirable:

1.Teaching, research industrial and / or professional experience in a reputed organization and

2. Papers presented at Conferences and / or published in referred journals.

  • Qualification for School of Business Management : 
  • Qualifying Criteria – PROFESSOR: Candidate should be a Ph.D., with Master’s Degree in Management / Administration / in a relevant discipline. He/She should have a minimum 10 years of teaching / industry / research / professional out of which 5 years must be at the level of Reader/Associate Professor or equivalent. OR
    First Class graduate and professionally qualified Chartered Accountant / Cost and Works Accountant / Company Secretary of the concerned statutory body. He/She should have professional work experience which is significant and can be recognized at national / International level as equivalent to Ph.D. and twelve years’ managerial experience in industry / profession of which at least eight years should be at least at a level comparable to that of Reader / Assistant Professor. AND
    Published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with, a minimum of 10 research publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC listed Journals.  Published work may also include such as Books, Research Periodical, Ph.D. guidance, Consultancy Project, Patent filed.
  • Qualifying Criteria – ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR: Candidate should be a Ph.D., with Master’s Degree in Management / Administration / in a relevant discipline. He/She should have a minimum 8 years of teaching / industry / research / professional experience at managerial level. ORFirst Class graduate and professionally qualified Chartered Accountant / Cost and Works Accountant / Company Secretary of the concerned statutory body. The candidate should have professional work experience which is significant and can be recognized at national / International level as equivalent to Ph.D. and ten years’ managerial experience in industry / profession of which at least five years should be at least level comparable to that of Lecturer / Assistant Professor. ANDA minimum of eight years if experience of teaching and /or research in an academic /research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/industry with a minimum of seven publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC listed journal. Published work may also include such as Books, Research Periodical, Ph.D. guidance, Consultancy Project, Patent filed.
  • Qualifying Criteria – ASSISTANT PROFESSOR: Ph.D. with First Class Master’s Degree in Business Management / Administration / in a relevant management related discipline. OR First Class graduate and professionally qualified Chartered Accountant / Cost and Works Accountant / Company Secretary of the concerned bodies.   AND          The candidate has published two research papers from based on his/her Ph.D. work, out of which at least one is in a refereed journal. The candidate has presented at least two papers based on his/her Ph.D. work in conferences/ seminar sponsored/funded/supported by the UGC/ICSSR/CSIR or any similar agency.
