Educational Qualification:
- M. Sc, M. Tech – Bioinformatics OR Ph.D. – Bioinformatics
- Minimum 3-5 years experience (Must have worked on NGS data analysis – WGS, WES and RNA seq)
Tenure of the Project: Initially for one year, later extendable based on the performance.
Job Description:
- Analysing large NGS datasets (Homo sapiens – WGS, Exome and RNA seq data) – assembly, variant calling, secondary analysis and up to literature writing. Profound experience in analyzing data generated on Illumina’s platforms.
- Profound experience in working on the Linux platform.
- Proficiency with standard bioinformatics and statistics tools, resources and packages.
Proficiency and programming/scripting experience. - Job Location: Chennai (IIT Madras)
