Qualification: M Tech, B Tech, Ph.D in Computer Science Engineering
A good academic record, with a Ph.D. degree in the relevant field and First class or equivalent at Bachelor’s and Master’s level in the relevant branch.
Experience of teaching and/or research in an academic/research position in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/industry with publications in the peer–reviewed or UGC–listed journals
Candidate Profile:
- Deliver engaging lectures and hands–on laboratory sessions across undergraduate and graduate courses, such as Algorithms, Data Structures, Software Engineering, and Machine Learning. Develop and implement innovative teaching methodologies that enhance student learning and engagement and create, update, and maintain comprehensive course materials, including syllabi, lectures, assignments, and assessments.
- Utilize technology and digital tools to facilitate effective learning environments, including online and hybrid course formats.
- Evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback to support their academic growth. Establish a robust research agenda in areas such as artificial intelligence, cyber security, software development, data science, or other emerging fields in computer science
- Publish research findings in peer–reviewed journals and present at national and international conferences.
- Mentor and guide graduate students in their research projects and theses.
- Pursue external funding opportunities from government agencies, industry partnerships, and private foundations to support research initiatives.
- Collaborate with colleagues within the department and across disciplines to foster interdisciplinary research projects.
- Participate actively in departmental, college, and university committees to contribute to academic governance and policy–making.
- Support accreditation processes and contribute to program assessment and continuous improvement efforts.
