Educational Qualification:

• Assistant Professor (International Relations)
  • 1. Master’s degree in the relevant subject or any allied field related to Political Science/ International Relations/ Area Studies with a minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade on a point scale wherever the grade system is followed) in the concerned/relevant/allied subjects from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
    2. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET or who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. in Regular mode.
    3. Degree in accordance with the University Grant Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./ Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as case may be.
    4. A good academic record, with a Ph.D. Degree in Political Science, International Relations, Area Studies, National Security, Security Studies and Strategic Studies and/or concerned/allied/relevant disciplines
    5. A candidate with Ph.D. will be preferred and the candidate should have imparting instructions and training and having policy-oriented research including Ph.Ds.
    6. The candidates shall be evaluated for their exceptional contributions either because of their unique expertise (that is not available internally) or because of their potential contribution to the institute through teaching quality and exceptional service.
    7. He/she shall guide technical-security projects of students and faculty, including PhD projects and RRU affiliated or partner institutions, and coordinate security and policing related projects. He/she should have excellent leadership and communication skills, passion to teach and motivate students, build relationship with security stakeholders of India and abroad, and enthusiasm to collaborate
• Subject Matter Specialist (Tibetan Language)
  • 1. Master’s degree with the minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade on a point scale wherever the grade system is followed) in the concerned/relevant/allied subjects from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. (Preference will be given to Native Speakers)
    2. Candidate with Advanced proficiency in Tibetan Language.
    3. Degree in accordance with the University Grant Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./ Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as case may be.
    4. The candidates shall be evaluated for their exceptional contributions either because of their unique expertise (that is not available internally) or because of their potential contribution to the institute through teaching quality and exceptional service. • Assistant Professor (International Relations)- INR 92,239/- fixed
• Subject Matter Specialist (Tibetan Language)- INR 1,18,000/- fixed
