Organization Profile: Pondicherry University also known as PU is one of the most renowned[citation needed] central universities of South India located in Kalapet, Pondicherry, Union Territory of Puducherry, India. It was established by an Act of Parliament in 1985 by the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. Qualifications:
- As Per UGC Norms.
- i. Good academic record as defined by the concerned university with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s Degree level in Electronic Media/Mass Communication or in a relevant/allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
ii. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or a similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.
iii. Ph.D. in a relevant field is preferable but not desired.
iv. Candidates with experience in teaching/industry will be given preference.
Tenure: Till the last working day of the Academic Year 2024-25 or until further orders, whichever is earlier

- The candidate should be completed a UG/PG in the relevant discipline with good academic records.
- The candidate should have excellent communication
- Candidates should be passionate towards teaching and guiding students
- The candidate should have good research record
Job Location: Puducherry
Pay Scale: Honorarium of Rs. 1500/- per Lecture (Subject to a maximum of Rs. 50,000/- per month)
