College Profile: Prasad V. Potluri Siddhartha Institute of Technology is one of the 18 Institutions sponsored by Siddhartha Academy of General and Technical Education (SAGTE). The Institution established in the year 1998 with a strong mission of imparting quality technical education through continuous non-compromising interactive teaching. The Institution offers eight graduate programs, two post graduate programs and MBA. The college is approved by AICTE and has been granted Autonomous status by UGC. All the eligible programs have been accredited thrice in the years 2007, 2012, 2016 by NBA under Tier-II subsequently accredited under Tier-I in 2019 and 2022. Qualification:
- Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed.
- At least ten years of experience as a Librarian or Assistant Librarian in engineering colleges or universities.
- Evidence of innovative library services, including the integration of ICT in a library.
- Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET or have been awarded a Ph. D Degree in accordance with the UGC regulations.
