Job Title: Assistant Professor (can be starting level/ senior grade/ selection grade depending on experience and capability).
Qualification: PhD in Sanskrit Language and Grammar/Spritual Studies from a reputed institute, with more than First Class in academics throughout (mandatory).
Skills Required:
- Cover the complete curriculum and revisions as required.
- Prepare FAQs; activities & Quiz etc., to make the knowledge easy to assimilate and enjoyable; create video library of pre-recorded lessons.
- Teach and popularise Sanskrit to interested Faculty/ Students and staff – by organising 03 sessions every week.
- Take sessions on life and teachings of Mahatmas; Dharma & Niti – for the Faculty and Staff periodically.
- Establish Clubs and groups in college to discuss and analyse Itihasas/ Puranas/Upanishads and Geetha.
- Provide expertise to develop or conduct a course related to Ancient Indian Sciences.
- Conduct sessions on Meditation/Shloka/ Stotra Recitation etc.
- Academic administrative support functions and developmental activities for the Dept. and students including volunteer services.
- Organise Bhajans/ Meditation classes/ Archana etc, periodically and also on special occasions.
- Coordinate Faculty Development Program conducted by university resources.
- Organize talks/guest lectures/seminars/workshops on the Indian Knowledge System.
- Organize or participate in various competitions related to Sanskrit, Culture etc.
- Organize activities related to Sanskrit, Culture etc. for students/staff.
Salary – Commensurate with Qualification and Experience.
