Though the school gives priority in admission to the children of Christian workers, it also provides accommodation for others irrespective of their caste, creed or religion. The Society was registered in October 1981 and Santhosha Vidhyalaya was opened in June 1982. Prof. Ivan Balasingh was the founding Secretary of the Society and the first Correspondent of the school.
