Organization Profile: National Institute of Technology, Andhra Pradesh is the 31st institution among the chain of NITs started by the Government of India. NIT Andhra Pradesh is established in the state of Andhra Pradesh recently in the academic year 2015 – 2016. CPWD has taken up the activity of construction of Academic, Hostel, Guest House and Admin buildings in Phase-I. Expected date of completion of Phase-I building in by March 2019. Immediately Phase-II will be executed. HEFA / MHRD has sanctioned Rs. 400cr for infrastructure and development.

Essential Qualification:

For S.No 1 to 7: First Class in both B.Tech. and M.Tech. or equivalent in respective branch of Engineering or allied branches.

For Biotechnology:

First Class in both B.Tech. and M.Tech. or equivalent in Biotechnology

or

First Class in both B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering and M.Tech. in Biotechnology/Chemical Engineering

or

First Class throughout B.Sc., M.Sc., and M.Tech in Biotechnology

For the School of Sciences (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry):

First Class in both UG and PG in the relevant discipline and Ph.D.** in the relevant or equivalent discipline

School of Humanities (English, Spanish, French, Sanskrit):

First Class in both UG and PG in the relevant discipline and Ph.D.** in the relevant or equivalent discipline

Schools of Humanities (Management):

First Class in B.Tech. (any branch of Engineering) and First Class in MBA (Full time).

Or

First class in Bachelor’s Degree (in any discipline) with First Class in M.Com.* (Fulltime) and First Class in MBA (Full time)

**For S.No. 9-11, the applicants who have submitted their Ph.D Thesis are also eligible to apply. In such case they are treated as equivalent to M.Tech.
*M.Com is not mandatory in the case of applicants having Ph.D qualification in the relevant or equivalent discipline.

Desirable Qualification:

Ph.D. in the relevant or equivalent discipline

Remuneration:

• Consolidated amount of Rs.70,000/- per month with Ph.D. qualification.
• Consolidated amount of Rs.55,000/- per month with M.Tech/ MBA or equivalent qualification.

Note: The engagement will be terminated by 31.05.2025#

#Except where the contract shall automatically terminate and/or before completion of the service of the contract for 30 days, the contract of engagement can be prematurely terminated by either party giving at least 30 days notice period
