Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the position of one Junior Research Fellow in a DBT-funded research project with the following details:
Title: “Investigation of predation pressure on physiology and gene expression levels of known plant growth promoting bacteria and harnessing its interaction under field condition”

Essential qualifications: M.Sc., Degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, or relevant area of Life Sciences with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent and with CSIR-NETIGATE/BET qualification. (Non-CSIR-NETIGATE qualified candidates can also apply; however, if selected the fellowship will be given as per the norms of DBT, New Delhi) Desirable: Practical knowledge in microbial (bacteria/protist) culture, molecular biology (PCR, qPCR), gene expression analysis, and field experimentation will be given preference.
Age limit: 28 years
Salary: As per the norms
Duration: Three years or up to the termination of project (subject to the review of candidates’ performance)
