Job Title/Designation: Implementation Scientist (Professor of Practice)
Qualification:
- Pertinent training and expertise in public health and community medicine/community outreach. PhD or equivalent degree in a key public health discipline will be an additional plus.
- Good track record of procuring external funding, and leading and implementing impactful research projects.
- Experience teaching and conducting training.
Experience:
Candidates should have a minimum of five or more years of experience in leading research and training programmes for grassroots-level health workers and other audiences; extensive experience of liaison with government health departments and other development agencies (both national and international). Some teaching experience and publications in reputed journals (Scopus indexed) are desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- To lead implementation research projects at the Bagchi School of Public Health and Sahyog.
- To contribute to developing, implementing, and evaluating initiatives that promote health and environmental sustainability.
- To procure funding, and lead research programmes.
- To serve as a liaison between different entities and to build coalitions.
- To develop training programmes for health promotion for grassroots workers and other audiences, and a course in implementation research for the University.
