The main objective of setting up of this specialized institute was to develop manpower in different disciplines of Plastics Engineering & Technology as no similar institute was in existence in the country.

Essential Qualification:
- M.Sc. / MTech in Polymer Science / Physics/Chemistry/Plastics Engineering/ Material Science & Engineering/ Additive Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering/Production Engineering/ Polymer Nanotechnology.
- Candidates having valid GATE/NET score shall be preferred
- Competency in Hands-on experience in handling sophisticated equipment/
machineries - Should have good oral and written communication skills
Emoluments: As per sponsored project/ DST Norms and Guidelines
Period of Engagement: The position is purely temporary and initially only for a period of 01 (one) year but extendable if work is found satisfactory on a year-to-year basis till the completion of the Project.
