Qualification:
- Distinguished experts who have made remarkable contributions in their professions from various fields such as engineering, technology, Economics & Development Studies, Management. Those who have proven expertise in their specific profession or role with at least 15 years of service/experience, preferably at a senior level, will be eligible for Professor of Practice.
- A formal academic qualification is not considered essential for this position if they have exemplary professional practice in lieu. These experts will also be exempted from the requirement of publications and other eligibility criteria stipulated for the recruitment of faculty members at the Professor level. However, they should possess the skills to carry out the duties and responsibilities specified by the University.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- The duties and responsibilities include development and designing of courses and curriculum; delivering lectures; engaging students in innovation & entrepreneurship projects and providing mentorship for these activities; helping the University in forging industry-academia collaborations; carrying out research project or consultancy services in collaboration with the regular faculty members of the University; delivering special lectures and training programmes.
- Candidates with good academic record throughout and have minimum 15 years of professional experience. They should have a track record of exemplary professional practice while serving in leadership positions and have a well-established, evidence-based reputation for superior accomplishments in their fields.

Duration and Nature of Engagement:
- This is a contractual appointment for a period of one year, extendable every year based on performance, up to a maximum of 3 years.
Pay Scale:
