D. Scale of Pay:
The following scale of pay & rate of NPP are interim in nature; likely to be modified as per ROPA 2019 after getting the necessary order from the competent authority. . NPP may be changed to NPA as per ROPA 2019.
Associate Professor: Rs. 9,000–Rs. 40,500 with higher initial of Rs. 23,250 + Grade Pay Rs. 8,000 (Unrevised pay)
Allowances: House Rent Allowances, Medical Allowance & Other allowances shall be admissible as per existing Government Rules.
Rate of N.P.P.: Associate Professor – 25% of (Basic Pay & Grade Pay) + Rs. 10,000 per month.
In case of re-employment, their pay and allowance will be guided as per rule 79 A contained under W.B.S.R. Part –I modified from time to time for the retired govt. employees.
Vacancy: The reservation policy of the Govt. of West Bengal will be strictly followed.
