About College: In keeping with India’s vision to become a world leader in science and Technology and to usher in a new revolution, resulting in unprecedented economic growth, the Government of India reassessed the need of technical manpower and decided to set up eight new IITs. Six of these started functioning back from the academic year 2008-09. These were established at Hyderabad, Gandhinagar, Rajasthan, Ropar, Patna and Bhubaneswar. IIT Indore and IIT Mandi started functioning from July 2009.

Qualification: 

Assistant Professor Grade I:
(i) Educational Qualification: Ph.D. with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout.
(ii) Experience: Minimum three years of industrial/ research/ teaching experience, excluding, however, the experience gained while pursuing Ph.D.
(iii) Age: Maximum 35 years

Assistant Professor Grade II:
(i) Educational Qualification: Ph.D. with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout.
(ii) The position of Assistant Professor Grade II will be on contract basis.
(iii) Age: Maximum 32 years

Associate Professor:
(i) Educational Qualification: PhD with first class or equivalent in the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout.
(ii) Experience: Minimum six years teaching/ industry/research experience of which at least three years’ experience should be at the level of Assistant Professor (Grade I), Senior Scientific Officer/Senior Design Engineer.

• The candidate should have excellent communication
• Candidates should be passionate towards teaching and guiding students
• The candidate should have good research record
