  1. DEAN ACADEMICS

JU is looking for a dynamic person for appointment as Dean for providing Academic Leadership for academic planning, curriculum development, and modern teaching-learning methodologies.  To plan and provide an innovative and student-centered academic environment. To ensure academic programs meet regulatory and accreditation standards.

To strategically plan for Curriculum Development & ensuring Quality Assurance.  To oversee the development, revision, and implementation of curriculum across all schools. To establish and monitor academic policies and regulations. Dean Academics will be responsible to promote best practices in teaching, learning, assessment, and research-driven education and ensure student success through innovative learning models, student support services, and academic advising.

Dean Academics should be conversant and drive digital learning initiatives and integrate technology in academic delivery and oversee the implementation of Learning Management Systems (LMS).

Essential Qualification & Experience required:

  • An eminent scholar having a Ph.D. degree, and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of research publications in peer reviewed and UGC listed journals.
  • A minimum of 15 years of teaching experience as Assistant Professor / Associate Professor / Professor at the University / National Level Institutions with evidence of having successfully guided doctoral candidates.
  • Preference will be given to candidates qualified from premier institutions of national importance like IIT/NIT/IIM/IIIT/IISER/IISc/CUs and Private Universities of repute. Candidates serving/served in such institutions are also preferred.
  • Working experience of designing and development of new curriculum, conducting academic audit, conducting various meetings pertaining to academic administration, oversee the academic programmes, faculty management, class room allocations, laboratory sessions scheduling, time table preparation and its management, knowledge in OBE, NEP 2020, International collaborations in academics, student exchange programmes, and ensuring university academic quality and standards.
  1. ASSOCIATE DEAN – Career advancements & Placements

Joy University is looking for appointing an Associate Dean for Career Advancements & Placements who will lead the university’s efforts in enhancing student career development and securing placement opportunities. This role involves strategic planning, collaboration with academic departments, and building relationships with industry partners to facilitate internships, job placements, and career advancement programs for students.

Essential Qualifications & Experience required:

A Master’s degree in Engineering, Science, MBA in HR/Marketing from a recognized institution. A Ph.D. is preferred.

Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in career services, student affairs, corporate relations, or a related field within higher education or industry. The applicant should have proven experience in a leadership role, managing teams, and overseeing programs aimed at student career development and placements.   Comprehensive understanding of the current job market, recruitment trends, and employer expectations across various sectors is essentially required.

Experience in working within the Indian higher education system, particularly in institutions such as IITs, NITs, IIMs, Central Universities, Leading Private Universities, or Deemed to be Universities is preferred.

  1. Career Guidance & Placement Officer

Joy University is seeking a proactive and results-driven Career Guidance & Placement Officer to lead career support and placement initiatives for students across diverse disciplines, including Engineering, Arts & Sciences, Design Engineering, Management, Agriculture, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Law. The officer will be responsible for strategizing and executing placement activities, fostering industry collaborations, and enhancing students’ employability through structured career guidance programs.

Essential Qualifications & Experience required:

Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in Engineering, MBA in HR/Marketing, or Career Guidance & Counseling from a recognized university.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in career guidance, placements, or industry-academia engagement in a reputed university or corporate sector. Strong track record in placement coordination, corporate tie-ups, industry engagement, career counseling, and soft skills training.

Extensive networking abilities with recruiters, industry professionals, and HR executives across engineering, design, management, infrastructure, agribusiness, and legal sectors.  Proven experience in organizing internships, recruitment drives, industry visits, career development workshops, and skill enhancement programs.

Prior experience working in leading higher education institutions such as IITs, NITs, IIMs, Central Universities, or top private/deemed to be universities is preferred.
