Organization Profile: The Government Polytechnic College Pulwama has been established in the IUST in the year 2012. Initially it was started in the main campus with following branches.
1. Three Years Diploma in Civil Engineering.
2. Three Years Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
3. Three Years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
These Courses have been approved by AICTE. Intake capacity in each branch is 60. Since 2012 seven batches have completed their diploma programmes up to 2021.
The Institution has been shifted to the new campus and has a unique advantage of getting the facility of Infrastructure in terms of Physical and Human resources from the University which is helping in producing the quality human resources out of the Institution.
