1. Ensure all matters pertaining to admission of students to the college at all levels in line with the norms of the VTU , AICTE. Preparation of the eligible candidate list and forwarding it to the concerned departments
2. Handle all tasks connected with VTU, DTE, and AICTE & State Government
3. Attending Students matters in relation to Scholarships, Educational , Practical training, Certificates etc.
4. Coordinate with department heads , Class master timetable,Preparing the academic calendar as outlined by the university,Keeping track of Academic calendars.
5. Preparing reports and supply of information in relation to all statutory bodies.
6. Attending to various inspection committees like LIC, AICTE and furnishing the all details required
7. To attend any other work that will be assigned by the higher authorities.
8. PA to Principal- Assisting the Principal in his day to day Operations
Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree in Arts or Science or Commerce
1. A pass in Type-Writing English Higher , Knowledge in Computer operations
2. Well aware of VTU, AICTE, DTE, state government norms
3. 5 years of experience in an Institution or University set up
1. Responsible for performing general and administrative support tasks of the Institution
2. Liasioning with respective Universities, handling university related tasks and students related details
3. These tasks may include, but are not limited to, general filing and records maintenance, compiling data for reports, assisting with administrative tasks associated with the cost center(s) budget(s), scheduling appointments and meetings, calendar maintenance for one or more employees, answering/screening telephone calls, preparing expense reports, preparing/editing presentations, making travel arrangements, distributing mail, greeting/escorting visitors, assisting new employees, duplicating, and other established general administrative tasks.
4. Coordinates work within the department unit and with other work units/departments, both internal and externally
Desired Skills:
Bachelor’s degree, with min 2-3 yrs exp
Good communication skills spoken and written
Good Knowledge in MS office suite
Exp in the education sector, university liaisoning exp would be an added advantage.
