Organization Profile: The government of India established the All India Soil Survey Organization in 1956 with the Headquarters at the Indian Agricultural Research Institute Nagpur with five Regional Soil Correlation Centers at Bangalore, Delhi, Kolkata, Jorhat, and Udaipur. Later in 1958, this scheme was integrated with the Land Use Planning Scheme of the Central Soil Conservation Board primarily to carry out detailed soil surveys in the catchment areas of major River Valley projects, with setting up the organization, “All India Soil and Land Use Survey”.

Qualification and Experience: Graduate (B.Sc./ B.Tech) with at least 60% marks in Computer Application, Information — Technology, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Operating Systems, Software Engineering, Computer Graphics

i. The candidates should complete PG/Ph.D. in relevant discipline
ii. The candidate should have good communication skills
iii. The candidate should have a passion for teaching and research
iv. Plan and implement educational activities and events.
v. Evaluate and document students progress.
