Job Title: Junior Research Fellow (JRF) / Research Assistant
Project Title: Tribe Connect: Integrated Smart Tribal Eco Platform- A proof of Concept in Chhattisgarh.
Note: It is a multi-institute project with Principal investigators from IIIT Naya Raipur, IIT Khargpur, and IIT Kanpur.
Sponsor: Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MietY), Govt. of India.
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech. with good CGPA or M.E /M. Tech in CSE/IT/ECE and relevant discipline
Desirable: Preference will be given for those candidates having the following:
- IoT, Sensor Integration, Machine Learning, etc.
- Good skills in programming such as python/Android/ Matlab, etc.
- JRF applicants are required to be M.Tech. (or equivalent)
- Good English and report writing skills
Job Description:
- Development of IoT & Machine Learning technology to transform existing villages towards the smart village.
- Development of software and hardware prototype.
- Deploy and test these developments on a model village in Chhattisgarh.
- Publish at venues like WF-IoT, GCIoT, ICT, iSES, file patents, etc.
Pay Scale:
- Competitive fellowship @ Rs. 31000 p.m. for JRFs and @ Rs. 16000 p.m. for RAs.
Job Location: IIIT Naya Raipur, Atal Nagar, Raipur, Chhattisgarh.
Duration: Duration of contract for 3 years.
