Name of the Post: Recruitment for the Post of Head PDC (WZ) – MUMBAI on a contract basis

The Institute invites applications for the post of “Head–PDC” (Professional Development Centre- WZ)” on contract basis (full time) at Mumbai from serving / retired Banking and Finance professionals as per the details given below.

Job Profile:

The Head – PDC is expected to undertake the following activities:

  • Promote established courses of the Institute with banks and evolve training procedures
  • Plan, organize and direct a wide range of training activities and development of programs for the banking & finance professionals
  • Conduct seminars, workshops and contact classes
  • Handling sessions in Training Programmes
  • Liaison with Banks / Staff Training Colleges of banks for the purpose of enrolment of new members as well as promotion of various examinations of the Institute
  • Overall administration of Institute’s Professional Development Centre
  • Attending to member’s queries

Qualifications:

Essential

Post Graduate/ CA/CMA/CFA and CAIIB

Desirable

  • MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.
  • Ph.D (Banking / Finance related topic)

Experience:

Essential

Should have held the position of Deputy General Manager and above in Banks / Financial Institutions.

Desirable

  • Experience as Faculty in Bank / Financial Institutions
  • Published articles/books.
  • Expertise in any of the areas of Credit management/ International Banking / Treasury Management / Risk Management / Compliance.
  • Computer Savvy to work in a virtual environment.

Age: The age of the applicant should not be less than 55 years and should not exceed 62 years as on 01.10.2023.

Remuneration:

a. The monthly remuneration of Rs. 1,25,000/- per month (All inclusive. TDS as applicable) with annual increment of Rs. 8,000/-. 15 days leave in a year. (Not encashable nor can be carried forward)

b. In addition to the above an amount upto a maximum limit of Rs. 40,000/- per month for stay arrangement at Mumbai and Conveyance charges upto a maximum limit of Rs. 20,000/- per month may be paid.

The eligible remuneration as stated in clause (a) & (b) will be paid as a consolidated amount on monthly basis. If the selected candidate is having a house / flat in his/her name or in the name of his/ her spouse in Mumbai Metropolitan Region will be paid 15% of the monthly remuneration towards stay arrangement.

Job Profile:

The Faculty Members are expected to undertake the following activities:

  • Preparation/Vetting of courseware
  • Preparation/Vetting of Multiple Choice Questions
  • Handling sessions in Training Programmes
  • Creating content for training programs / co-ordinating programmes
  • Organising Seminars / Conferences
  • Assist in the publication work of the Institute
  • Contribute to other academic activities of the Institute
  • Liasoning with academic / training set-up of Banks/ Financial Institutions.
  • Should be comfortable in handling other matters/ subjects related to banking.

Area of Specialization:

The Faculty Member should have specialization in Human Resource Management with special emphasis on Organizational Behaviour, Leadership, and Soft skills.

Qualification:

Essential

Post Graduate

Desirable

  • MBA (HR) or equivalent professional qualification / Certifications etc.
  • Ph.D
  • CAIIB/ Diploma/ Certificate courses of IIBF

Experience:

Essential

  • Should have held the position of Senior Management Grade and above in Banks / Financial Institutions or Associate Professor and above in a reputed management Institute/ College.
  • Computer Savvy to take sessions in a virtual environment and also to use new technologies in training such as Digital Interactive Board etc.

Desirable

  • Experience as Faculty in Banks/ Financial Institutions with proficiency in using various training tools & methodologies including management games for conducting programs on leadership and soft skills.
  • Published articles/books.

AGE: Below 62 years as of 01.10.2023.

AREA OF SPECIALISATION

The Faculty Member should have specialization in Information Technology with special emphasis on Digital Banking, Cyber Security, Emerging Technologies, Data Science & MIS, Data Analytics, Digital Lending Platforms and Collaboration of Banks with Fintech Companies.

Qualification:

Essential

MCA/ MSc (IT)/ BE or B.Tech (CS/ IT).

Desirable

  • MBA (IT) or equivalent qualification from a recognized University / Institution.
  • Ph.D
  • CAIIB/ Diploma/ Certificate courses of IIBF

EXPERIENCE

Essential

  • Should have held the position of Senior Management Grade and above in Banks / Financial Institutions / Senior level position in IT service firms / Fintech Companies.
  • Work experience of minimum 5 years at in Public Sector Banks or equivalent in reputed Private Sector Banks / reputed Financial Institutions / Leading IT service Firms / Fintech companies.
  • Experience of working in IT related areas / Cyber Security & Digital Payments, Use of Emerging Technologies and Data Analytics in various functional areas of Banks / Financial Institutions.

Desirable

  • Experience as Faculty in Bank / Financial Institution.
  • Experience of working as CISO / CTO in Public Sector Banks / reputed Private Sector Banks / Financial Institutions.
  • Experience of working as Head of operations / Senior level positions from Leading IT service firms / Fintech Companies having exposure in Banking and Core Banking Solutions related areas.

AGE:

Below 62 years as on 01.10.2023.

CONTRACT PERIOD:

  • The term of the contract will be for two years. It is extendable for a further period of one year each time up to a maximum of 3 years or up to the age of 65 years, whichever is earlier depending upon the requirement and performance.
  • The contract may be terminated with a notice period of one month from either side.

SELECTION PROCEDURE

Shortlisted candidates will have to appear for a personal interview before the selection committee at the Institute’s Corporate Office at Mumbai. Outstation candidates will be reimbursed AC-2 tier to and fro train fares (shortest route).

Institute reserves the right to shortlist the candidates for a personal interview, and its decision will be final in the matter.
