Organization Profile: The Institute of Economic Growth (IEG), an autonomous research and training Institution established in 1952, conducts research in several areas of Economics, Sociology, and Demography. IEG invites applications for the following faculty positions in the newly TATA Chair on Information Technology at the Institute for a period of 4 years.
Job Title: Assistant Professor
Department: Agriculture Economics Research Unit
Qualification:
(i) Ph.D. degree in Economics.
(ii) Demonstrable track record of research and policy analysis in the areas of macro-economic/ Macro-modeling/ Macro-forecasting and related field.
(iii) At least one very good publication in peer-reviewed economics.
(iv) Areas of expertise to reflect DPC research priorities (Macro-economics, Macro-modelling/ Macro-forecasting).

- The candidate should be completed a UG/PG in the relevant discipline with good academic records.
- The candidate should have excellent communication
- Candidates should be passionate towards teaching and guiding students
- The candidate should have good research record
