Organization Profile: The Bengaluru campus of Indian Veterinary Research Institute (ICAR-IVRI) was established in 1972 by the assistance under DANIDA programme of Government of Denmark with the objective of large-scale production of Foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) vaccine. The campus, spread over 135 acres of land, has establishments at two locations: (i) Hebbal campus where the main research activity is being carried out, and (ii) Yelahanka, where animal experimentation facility exists, with biosafety level 3 containment.
Job Title: Junior Research Fellow
Project Title: Development and evaluation of a nanocarrier based novel foot-and-mouth
disease virus vaccine for non-parenteral delivery

Qualification:
- Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science OR Graduate/ Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course selected through a process described through any one of the
following:
a. Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
b. The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR,ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc - Desirable Qualifications:
i. Working experience in cell culture and molecular biology techniques.
ii. Scientific writing skill
