Title of the Project: Transforming India’s Green Revolution by Research and Empowerment for Sustainable Food Supplies (TIGR2ESS)
JRF Position: Organic Farming and Agricultural Diversification
Essential Qualifications: Masters and NET in Economics/Management/Public Administration with 55% (5% relaxation to SC/ST as per UGC norms)
Emoluments:
₹ 31,000+16% HRA p.m. (NET Qualified)
₹ 20,000+16% HRA p.m. (non-NET Qualified)
Duration: wef. Date of Joining upto 30th September, 2021
Candidate Profile:
- The Research Fellow will be studying the economic sustainability of organically grown crops as an alternative to conventional farming; policies and practices of agricultural
diversification etc. There will be extensive survey work, largely based on primary data.
The Research Fellow’s tasks will include the following: - Reviewing literature
- Conducting extensive farm surveys
- Conducting workshops etc.
- Interventions using action research methodology
- Tracking the progress of the intervention(s)
- Data management, analysis, documentation, report writing, presentation.
