Name and number of the position available: Senior Research Fellow (SRF)-01 with two years of research experience or Junior Research Fellow (JRF)-01

NOTE: The position is open for either JRF or SRF based on the experience of the candidate

Remuneration: if JRF (Rs. 31,000/- + HRA) and for SRF (Rs. 35,000/- + HRA)

Duration of Project: The position is tenable up to the duration of the project.

Eligibility Criteria:

For JRF: M.Sc. or equivalent degree, in either Life Science/ Bio-technology/ Zoology with minimum 55% marks, or minimum CGPA of 6.0. Qualification in at least one of these exams: CSIR-UGC NET (incl. LS); GATE; national-level exams conducted by DST/DBT/ICMR.

For SRF: A minimum of two years prior research experience is mandatory for the position.

Desirable criteria: Experience in research work related to infectious disease.

Age limit:

For JRF: Not more than 28 years as of the due date of submission of application (relaxation as per the norms/orders of the Government of India).
For SRF: Not more than 32 years as of the due date of submission of application (relaxation as per the norms/orders of the Government of India).
