Dr. Shivajirao Patil Nilangekar Ex- Chief Minister Maharashtra State started Maharashtra College of Pharmacy in 1984.  The aim behind the opening of such a professional institute in rural area like Nilanga is to educate the youth from this area. Academic performances of our Students are always excellent in their respective examinations. Every year our students are securing very good rank in national level examinationslike GPAT and NIPER. Last year 8 students and during the current year 17 students qualified in GPAT exam. In 2016 one of our students Ganpat Surywanshi secured All India 28^thRank in GPAT exam. Our students got more than 20 times gold medal in university examination.

Qualifications:

• Assistant Professor
  First Class Master’s Degree in appropriate branch of specialization in Pharmacy.
• Associate Professor:
  A Ph. D. Degree with First Class at Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in the appropriate branch of specialization in Pharmacy and experience of eight years in teaching, research industrial and / or profession at the level of Lecturer or equipment grade
• Professor:
  A Ph. D. Degree with First Class at Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in the appropriate branch of specialization in pharmacy and experience of ten years in teaching, research, industrial and / or profession at the level of Lecturer or equivalent grade;
