BENEDICT MAR GREGORIOS, LATE ARCH BISHOP of Thiruvanandapuram Arch Diocese managed by the Malankara Syrian Catholic Management (MSCM). This management has rendered a remarkable service in the field of Medicine, Engineering, School and Collegiate Education all over India since 1930. The college offers 12 degree programs and 3 post-graduate programs, functioning in two shifts, Shift-I & Shift-II.
Job Summary:
We are looking for an efficient and effective Administrative Officer as well as PRO to manage the administrative functions of the college and handle public relations activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the college’s administrative tasks, maintaining a positive image of the college, and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day administrative tasks of the college, including correspondence, record-keeping, and maintenance of files and databases.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure efficient functioning of the college.
- Develop and implement effective public relations strategies to promote the college’s image and reputation.
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including students, parents, alumni, and the local community.
- Handle media relations, including drafting press releases, responding to media queries, and coordinating media events.
- Organize events, conferences, and seminars to promote the college’s activities and achievements.
- Develop and maintain the college’s website and social media presence.
- Provide administrative support to the Principal and other senior staff members.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in any discipline (preferably in Public Relations, Communications, or Business Administration).
- At least 5 years of experience in administration and public relations, preferably in an educational institution.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office, social media, and website management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience in event management and media relations.
- Knowledge of graphic design and video editing software.
- Familiarity with educational regulations and policies.
