The role would include:
1. Focusing on overall placements for the batches.
2. Building strong Client Relation with industries/organizations and agencies for internship and placement of trainees.
3. Liaising with industries/organizations and agencies
4. Visiting and building relationship with various companies to ensure brand recall
5. Counsel students and inform them about the various career trajectories by one-on-one sessions with students regularly and making them more placeable
6. Establishing and managing corporate tie-ups by acting as the face of the organization
7. Documentation of placement Tie-ups
8. Prepare and submit monthly placement reports
To fit the bill, you must have:
- Preferred MBA with 10 to 15 years of work experience in placement of management graduates
- Demonstrated expertise with handling placements in other MBA/PGDM colleges and universities
- Ability to monitor and capitalize on emerging trends in different sectors
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- The ability to work well under pressure, prioritizing workload when needed
- Very good networking skills and live industry contacts
- Good project and people management skills, attention to detail and planning to hit deadlines
