Organization Profile: In the year 1919, the Government of India sent a proposal in respect of the Constitutional reforms to the Secretary, Government of India therein,for the first time, the matter of Public Service Commission was discussed and the provision of establishing the Public Service Commission was made under Section 96-C of the Government of India Act,1919. However, the said provision did not came into force for a period of 7 years. In pursuance of the recommendations of the Lee Commission appointed in the year 1923, the Federal Public Service Commission was established for the Government of India in the year 1926. The Lee Commission had effectively put forth the necessity of the Commission.

2) For Perspectives & Foundations in Education:
i) M.A. in Social Sciences / Sociology / Philosophy / Psychology with minimum 55%
marks or equivalent grade

iii) B.Ed./B.El.Ed. degree with minimum 55%
iv) NET/SLET in Education or Ph.D. in Education
OR

4) For ICT (Specialization):
