Organization Profile: The National Institute of Technology (formerly known as Regional Engineering College) Tiruchirappalli, situated in the heart of Tamil Nadu on the banks of the river Cauvery, was started as a joint and co-operative venture of the Government of India and the Government of Tamil Nadu during 1964 with a view to catering to the needs of man-power in technology for the Country. Essential Qualification:
- Junior Research Fellow (JRF): Post Graduate Degree in Chemistry/Chemical Science selected through a process described through any one of the following:
- Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests –CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE
- The selection process through National Level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE,DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISC, IISER, NISER etc
- Project Associate – I: Master’s degree in Chemistry/Chemical Science from a recognized university or equivalent
Candidate Profile:
- The candidate should be completed a UG/PG in the relevant discipline with good academic records.
- The candidate should have excellent communication
- Candidates should be passionate towards teaching and guiding students
- The candidate should have good research record
Job Location: Trichy, Tamilnadu
Pay Scale:
- JRF: Rs. 31,000 per month + 16 % HRA to Scholars who are selected through(a) National Eligibility Tests –CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship(Assistant Professorship) or GATE.
- Project Associate- I: Rs. 25,000 per month + 16 % HRA for scholars who are not selected through National Eligibility Tests –CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE.
Duration: 12 months (maximum), [This temporary position is initially for 6 months and extendable only for the duration of the project subject to satisfactory performance.]
