College Profile: NSTI(W), formerly RVTI (W) comes under Government of India, Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Directorate General of Training (formerly Ministry of Labour & Employment, Directorate General of Employment & Training), Women ’s Occupation. Women Occupation Training (WoT) separated under Directorate General of Training (formerly DGE&T) in the year 1976. The first institute under WoT started functioning were National Vocational Training Institute (NVTI) for Women, at New Delhi, with 2 regional vocational training institutes called RVTI, at erstwhile Bombay and Bangalore. Today 15 RVTIs are functioning at various places in India. NVTI and RVTIs are imparting vocational training as required by the local industry and also providing need based training to become self-entrepreneur. RVTIs are located at Tura, Hissar, Jaipur, Allahabad, Kolkata, Indore, Vadodra, Mumbai, Bangaluru, Trivandrum, Agartala, Patna, Shimla, Trichy and Mohali.      The Directorate General of Training (DGT) under Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship offers a range of vocational training courses catering to the need of different sectors of the economy/ labour market. The vocational training programs are delivered under the aegis of National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT). Craftsman Training Scheme (CTS) and Apprenticeship Training Scheme (ATS) are two pioneer programs of NCVT for propagating vocational training.

CTS Courses:
Degree with CITS along with 1 year experience in relevant trade,
Diploma with CITS along with 2 years’ experience with relevant trade,
ITI with CITS certificate with 3 years’ experience with relevant trade.
CITS Courses:
Degree with CITS along with 2-year experience in relevant trade,
Diploma with CITS along with 5 years’ experience with relevant trade,
ITI with CITS certificate with 7 years’ experience with relevant trade

• Fashion Design and Technology (CITS)
  • B.Voc/Degree in Fashion Technology/ Fashion Deigning and Technology from AICTE/ UGC recognized Board / University with two years experience in relevant field.

    Diploma (Minimum 2 years) in Fashion Technology/ Fashion Designing and Technology from recognized Board / University or relevant Advanced Diploma (Vocational) from DGT with five years experience in relevant field.
    OR
    Ex-serviceman from Indian Armed forces with 15 years of service in related filed as per equivalency through DGR. Candidate should have undergone methods of instruction course or minimum 02 years of experience in technical training institute of Indian armed forces.

    NTC/ NAC passed in ‘Fashion Design and Technology’ trade with seven years experience in relevant field. Essential Qualification: National Craft Instructor Certificate (NCIC) in ‘Fashion Design and Technology’, in any of the variants under DGT

Job Location: Hyderabad, Telangana

Pay Scale: CITS Scheme: Guest Faculty appointed on hourly basis @ Rs.250/- per hour. The maximum Consolidated emolument paid to the guest faculty Rs.30,000/- per month and TDS will be deducted as per rule.
CTS scheme: Guest Faculty appointed on hourly basis @ Rs.200/- per hour. The maximum
Consolidated emolument paid to the guest faculty Rs.30,000/- per month and TDS will be
deducted as per rule.

Selection Criteria
Selection procedure: Written Test & Practical/Skill Test followed by Classroom teaching demo for short listed candidates. No TA/DA /Accommodation will be paid /allotted for attending selection The selection committee has the right to cancel the selection procedure without assigning any reasons. Regional Director / HOD / HOO of the Institute reserves the right to discontinue or can alter number of posts for Guest Faculty without assigning any reason or notice
