Essential Qualification:
Junior Research Fellow (JRF):
Post Graduate Degree in Chemistry/ Chemical Science selected through a process described through any one of the following:
• Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests –CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE
• The selection process through National Level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISC, IISER, NISER, etc.

Project Associate – I
Master’s degree in Chemistry/ Chemical Science from a recognized university or equivalent
Salary:
For GATE/ NET Qualified Candidates
JRF: Rs. 31,000 per month + 18% HRA to Scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests –CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE.

For Non-GATE/ Non-NET Candidates
Project Associate- I: Rs. 25,000 per month + 18% HRA for scholars who are not selected through National Eligibility Tests –CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE.
Duration of Project: 12 Months (Tenure extension based on fund availability, and performance review)
Job Description:
1. Design, Synthesis and Characterization of Organic/Inorganic Hybrid Perovskite Materials
2. Compilation of Results
3. Report Preparation and Presentation
4. The selected candidates will be permitted to register for the Ph.D. program as per NITT rules and regulations.
