National Institute of Technology, Warangal, is the first among 17 RECs set up as a joint venture of theGovernment of India and the state government. The Indian Institute of Information Technology Design & Manufacturing, Kurnool (IIITDMK) was established in 2014 following the approval of the Institutes of Information Technology Act, 2014 by the President of India. Fully funded by the Ministry of Education, IIITDM Kurnool holds the prestigious status of an Institute of National Importance. The institute’s campus was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Prime Minister on 20th February 2024. IIITDM Kurnool offers B.Tech programs in CSE, AI&DS, ECE, and ME, along with M.Tech in six engineering specializations and Ph.D. programs.

This Faculty Development Program (FDP) is organized by the Electronics & ICT Academy (Hub), NIT Warangal, in association with E&ICT Academy (Spoke), IIITDM Kurnool, and Mahindra University, Hyderabad.
- The FDP is sponsored by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), GoI
- The program aims to integrate Digital Humanities, Digital Pedagogy, Digital Storytelling, Digital Arts & Aesthetics, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Learning (ML), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Generative AI.
