- Distinguished experts who have made remarkable contributions in their professions in the field of Communications, Signal Processing, Wireless Networks, Image and Video Processing, Machine Learning, Circuits and Systems for Signal Processing, VLSI Design, RF and Microwave Engineering, Antenna and Propagation, RFIC, Marketing Management, Human Resource Management and Organizational Behaviour, Finance and Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Aerospace Engineering, Aviation Management, Aviation Engineering, Aviation Sciences, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Management and other allied disciplines of Aviation/Electronics/Management etc.
- Those who have proven expertise in their specific profession or role with at least 15 years of service/experience, preferably at a senior level, will be eligible for Professor of Practice.
- Ph.D. qualification is not mandatory, but candidates must have a wide industrial/professional experience with held positions of responsibility in reputed Industries/ Organizations of similar fields.
- A formal academic qualification is not considered essential for this position if they have exemplary professional practice in lieu. These experts will also be exempted from the requirement of publications and other eligibility criteria stipulated for the recruitment of faculty members at the Professor level. However, they should possess the skills to carry out the duties and responsibilities specified in the following section.

Pay Scale:
- The Professor of Practice will be paid an all inclusive consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs.1,50,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Fifty Thousand only). The Income Tax, other tax(es), duties, fees and/or other impositions levied will be deducted at source as per Government instructions / University rules. No other facilities/ allowances/benefits would be admissible except those specifically mentioned
