About the Department:
The Department of Management Studies (DMS) started functioning from 2009 with the twin objectives of providing quality management education to students coming from predominantly rural background and catering to the dynamic needs of the corporate world. It offers a two-year full-time MBA Programme, and three-year under graduate (BBA) Programme in management and also a Doctoral Programme. The Department is headed by eminent faculty members having vast experience in teaching and Research. The department is actively engaged in Research Projects, Collaborative Project, Industry Interactions.
Title of the project: Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the ICSSR Special Call for Vision Viksit Bharat @2047 project entitled “Enhancing Mental Health Outcomes among Youth through Effective Mental Health Literacy Interventions: A Comparative Study of Higher Secondary and University-based Programs in Select States of South India”
Essential Qualifications:
- For Field Investigator: Post Graduate in subject relevant to the research area of the Project or any Social Science discipline with minimum 55% marks.
- For Research Associate: Ph.D/M.Phil/NET/Post Graduate in subject relevant to the research area of the Project or any Social Science discipline with a minimum of 55% marks in Post-Graduation and 2 years of research experienced.
- For Research Assistant: Ph.D/M.Phil/Post Graduate in subject relevant to the research area of the Project or any Social Science discipline with a minimum of 55% marks.
Desirable Qualifications: With a strong background in Social Science Research, knowledge in Data Analysis and packages including SPSS, R-Studio, Python and Structural Equation Modelling.
Age limit: Below 35 years
Remuneration: Research Associate @ 47,000/- per month, Research Assistant @ 37,000/- per month and Field Investigator @ 20,000/- per month. The remuneration is including HRA, no other benefits will be provided.
Project Tenure: 10 months for Research Associate, 6 months for Research Assistant, 1 month for Field Investigator.
Job Location: Select Candidates will be deputed to work at select districts of Karnataka, Tamilnadu and Andhra Pradesh.
