About College: The Sankara Education institution, sponsored by the Coimbatore Educational and Cultural Foundation Trust, were founded by ‘Kalvi Chemmal’ Sri T.k. Pattabhiraman with the blessing of his holiness Paramachariar and the foundation stone was laid by late Raja Sir Muthiah Chettiar, Pro-chancellor, Annamalai University in August, 1982.
