Qualification:
- Professor – Recognized veterinary qualifications included in the first and second schedule in Indian Veterinary Council Act; 1984 & must be registered with a State Veterinary Council/Veterinary Council of India. (ii) Master degree in the concerned/relevant discipline with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed with consistently good academic record (iii) Ph.D. in concerned/relevant discipline.
- Associate Professor – Recognized veterinary qualifications included in the first and second schedule in Indian Veterinary Council Act; 1984 & must be registered with a State Veterinary Council/Veterinary Council of India. (ii) Master degree in the concerned/relevant discipline with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed. - Assistant Professor – Recognized veterinary qualifications included in the first and second schedule in Indian Veterinary Council Act; 1984 & must be registered with a State Veterinary Council/Veterinary Council of India. (ii) Master degree in the concerned/relevant discipline with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed with consistently good academic record (iii) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC/ICAR or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC/ICAR, like SLET/SET or who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission.
