Organization Profile: Sharadha Skill Academy (SSA) is a renowned national-level skill-building program initiative launched by KG Group of companies, under the aegis of Sri PalaniMurugan Trust, with the biggest dream of providing job-oriented vocational skills to underprivileged youth for improving their social, economic, quality of life.

Sharadha Skill Academy offers vocational training for 12 weeks, which concentrates majorly on providing industry-relevant, practical training on a pro-bono basis to make the youth employable and self-dependant in this competitive market. The training focuses on building life skills that include effective communication, etiquette, and grooming.

Academy has tied up with industry leaders as employment partners to create employment for the candidates.

Job Title/Designation: Placement Manager

Qualification: Master’s degree, Bachelor’s Degree with First class in all the preceding degrees in the appropriate branch of degree, with an exemplary academic record throughout.

Experience:

  • Any Degree with 5+ experience in Placement
  • Good Communication & interpersonal/social skills
  • Pleasing Personality and Presentable
  • Good Co-ordination skills
  • Should have eye on details
  • Good at planning & executing the tasks
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Well versed with the online job portals
  • Functional knowledge of Excel & Word
  • Proactive, Enthusiastic

Candidate Profile:

  • Ensure there are enough vacancies for each course offered at each of the centre’s
  • Ensure there are a minimum of 20 job vacancies every month in the local district itself
  • Regularly coordinate the planned activities with the Centre Manager in order to reflect
    the priorities
  • Manage relationships with existing corporate clients while focusing on obtaining new
    business Successfully articulate and promote the differentiators and brand value of SSA
    graduates.
  • Collaborate with Trainers and Training Managers to reflect customer requirements in
    the training process
  • Participate in various student assessments with trainers to evaluate the student
    fit/potential placements
  • Collaborate with the Training Manager to develop new content on company specific
    interview requirement
  • Brief students on successfully clearing the interview just before the interview process
  • Counsel students every two weeks to ensure their expectations and skills level match
    the jobs available in the market
  • Counsel student’s parents regularly to ensure job acceptance rate increases
  • Coordinate with Counselor/coordinator to arrange student interviews and follow up
    hiring steps
  • Track all placements internal accurately
  • Follow up hiring steps to receive placement confirmation, joining date, offer letter, etc.
  • Support placement logistics, such as traveling, accommodation, etc.
  • Communicate with Center In Charge and Programme Managers on placement rates and
    impact on regional business
