Research Prosition: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Title of the project: Bloch Surface Mode Excitation and Non reciprocity in Infrared and Tera/Giga-hertz Frequency Range Using Magnetophotonics Crystals
Sponsoring/Funding Agency: Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Department of Science and Technology, Government of India Core Research Grant
Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. in Physics/Applied Physics or Equivalent from any recognized university with 55% Marks with CSIR-NET / SET or valid GATE Score.
(Relaxation for SC/ST & PH candidates is as per GOI Norms)
Desirable Qualifications: Knowledge in the field of Theoretical Optics and Photonics & Basic knowledge of programming in CST-Microwave Studio, COMSOL Multiphysics & MATLAB.
Project Duration: 36 months
Stipend: Rs. 31000/- (+16% HRA) per month for first two years and 35,000/- (+16% HRA) for the third year.
