Job Title: Quality Assurance Officer

Departments: IRQA Department

Qualification:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a discipline that is able to incorporate Business Intelligence in Quality Improvement System.
  • A Master’s Degree in a relevant discipline is desirable.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of working experience, preferably in quality assurance in higher education industry.
  • Fluent in written English and oral skills, with the ability to give and receive information effectively using a variety of methods (including report writing).
  • Proactive, dynamic, and self-motivated analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Ability to work under pressure with high standards of professionalism to manage simultaneous activities & complete work streams accurately and with attention to detail.
  • Hands on experience with data analysis, use of statistical software, and demonstrated ability to integrate technology in the workplace.

Candidate Profile:

  • This job profile aims at carrying out management and administration of the Library Services efficiently. It ensures Oversees activities and monitors quality assurance procedures at University level.
  • Assist in the correct application of University regulations, policies and procedures in relation to quality assurance and accreditation within institutional units.
  • Working closely with the Director of Institutional Research Quality Assurance Outreach and Accreditation to ensure institutional compliance with governing frameworks.
  • Manage delivery of QA procedure and regulations, producing evidence at a local level to mitigate institutional compliance risks.
  • Support quality assurance related tasks including institutional quality auditing, program development and validation, programs / course reviews and modification, academic policy and procedure management.
  • Assist in staff/faculty/student surveys and services analysis and evaluations.
  • Actively and closely working with academic units to ensure all academic settings are in line with the requirements of the Ministry of Education and other international accreditation and professional bodies.
  • Assists with Institutional Research and Accreditation data and information requirements in support of the activities of the Planning and the evaluation of Institutional Effectiveness Perform ad hoc projects/duties as assigned.

Functional Role:

  • Ensure all units compliance to Quality Assurance procedures
  • Provide essential support in implementation of the quality assurance procedures across all units
  • Assist in ensuring the institutional compliance to Governing framework
  • Mitigation of risks related to institutional compliance
  • Analysis and review of feedback and survey data
  • Assist in the Planning and the evaluation of Institutional Effectiveness.

Job Location: Sharjah – UAE

Pay Scale: 5000 To 8,000 AED per month + Free transportation + Visa + Air tickets + Medical Insurance +Annual Leave.

Salary and benefits will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
