College Profile: Somaiya Sports Academy is an integral part of the Somaiya Vidyavihar trust, and has international standard infrastructure for sports like Athletics (all disciplines), Lawn Tennis, Basketball, Badminton, Squash, Football, Volleyball, Roller Skating, Cricket and a fully equipped gymnasium. Qualification: MSc in Sports and exercise science or Master’s in physical education with minimum 55% aggregate and NET / SET Ph . D. Desirable .

- Sports and exercise Nutrition
- Sports psychology
Experience: 5 years of teaching experience, 3 years in an educational institute for Higher Education, a previous administrative role is desirable.
Candidate Profile:
- The candidate should be completed a UG/PG in the relevant discipline with good academic records.
- The candidate should have excellent communication
- Candidates should be passionate towards teaching and guiding students
- The candidate should have good research record
Job Description
- Academy responsibility of SSA programs.
- Conducting practicals and lab sessions , mentoring internship projects making syllabus & session plans , teaching plan , designing assignments & projects .
- Facilitating classes for courses across the programmes through appropnate pedagogy setting Question papers , Internal & External Evaluation ; Moderation of end term evalution .
- Membership of Committee at Department , Institute and University level .
- Managing Events working with team of faculty Colleagues , staff and student voluteers
