Job Title: Senior Professional Assistant (Library)
Qualification: Graduate with any discipline and Bachelor of Library & Information Science from UGC approved university with 04 year experience of Academic Library. OR Master of Library & Information Science with 2 year e-xperience. Sound knowledge of library software along with in house keeping function of the Library.
Requisite Experience – Candidates should have and knowledge about library in-house activities carried out each day
Salary: 25,000 to 30,000 per month
Job Description:
1. Library material acquisition, process, circulation, stacking.
2. Reference service, and library all in-house work day-to-day activities
3. Computing data entry, work with LMS, Digital Library, IR
4. Maintenance of stack-room, periodicals, eResources etc.
5. Shift duties, as and when required
6. Assistance to users
7. University Library record maintenance and file maintenance of print and electronic format.
