Sri Muthukumaran Institute of Technology is a Self financing Engineering college located in the Kundrathur main road at a distance of about 10 km from the Chennai city. The Institution is approved by AICTE, New Delhi & affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. The Institute has got recognition from UGC under 2(f) and 12(B) scheme. Five UG Courses of our Institution – Accredited by NBA two times and participated in the National institute of Ranking Framework (NIRF) process. Our college has also participated in the All India Survey on Higher Education (AISHE).
